Sharing our knowledge and building capacity for music, Mitchell Conservatorium offers professional development for pre-school educators and generalist teachers, delivered by experienced music education professionals. Content for day-long group sessions includes delivering the K-6 music curriculum and training K-6 choirs. One-to-one and small group sessions are available also across all areas of school-based music education delivery. Through the Association of NSW Regional Conservatoriums, Executive Director, Graham Sattler, has written and delivers courses in partnership with the NSW Teachers Federation Centre for Professional Learning. Go to The Music of Our Classrooms on our Resources page for an example of our involvement in professional development for classroom teachers.
